Three world records set at fabled strip in 2004, records will fall again in 2005; Millican continues quest for unprecedented fifth straight world title
IHRA Top Fuel driver Clay Millican (Drummonds, Tenn.) has turned the drag strip at Rockingham Dragway into his personal playground over the last four years.

Millican, the four-time defending Top Fuel World Champion, driving the Werner Enterprises 2004 Hadman Dragster for the Peter Lehman Racing Team, has won eight consecutive IHRA national events at “The Rock” and will be searching for number nine during the IHRA Spring Nationals April 22-24 >>>More | Event Preview | Buy Tickets Now!


Summit SuperSeries Ready to Roll
Revamped sportsman racing program now underway
The 2004 Summit SuperSeries was one of the most popular and successful sportsman racing programs in IHRA history. In ’05 it should be much better.

With a new format, new prize packages and the finality that comes by determining the winners on the track the Summit SuperSeries is poised for record-setting participation. New For 2005. “BEST OF BOTH WORLDS”
IHRA’s “Best of Both Worlds” program, aimed at making competing for the Hooters Series National Championship easier for sportsman racers, will kick off at Cordova Dragway Park at the Mr. Gasket Pro Am event May 13-15. IHRA Ironman Classic Presented by DRAG REVIEW MAGAZINE Kicks Off It's Second Year
For the second year IHRA will offer the sportsman program to all IHRA member track s, the” Ironman Classic”, Presented by DRAG REVIEW MAGAZINE. Before this program became a part of the IHRA, a sportsman racer could only win an IHRA Ironman if they traveled to a divisional or national event. Now weekly bracket racers have an opportunity to receive the most sought after prize in IHRA Drag Racing – the Ironman – without leaving their home track. >>>More
